How fast can I create my first resume?

Most users go from sign-up to PDF export in under five minutes. You can also drop in an existing PDF or paste your LinkedIn profile and our AI will pre-populate everything in seconds.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Offersly runs entirely in your browser. There is an optional Chrome extension that auto-fills job application forms from your resume data.

Can I import an existing resume?

Yes. On the dashboard click "Import Old Resume" and either drop a PDF or paste your LinkedIn profile text. Our AI structures the content into Offersly fields.

Are Offersly resumes ATS-safe?

Yes. All Offersly templates use native HTML text characters — no text boxes, no flattened images. ATS parsers can read every word. We use a print-to-PDF pipeline (not screenshots), so exported PDFs are text-selectable and machine-readable.

Which template is the most ATS-safe?

The free "ATS Strict" template is engineered for the strictest parsers: single column, no graphics, no columns or sidebars. Use it for high-volume applications or roles you suspect use older ATS software.

What about photos? Are they ATS-safe?

Accepted Answer

Most modern ATS systems handle photos correctly, but many US and UK employers prefer resumes without photos and some legacy systems skip them. Offersly lets you hide the photo with one click — see the Style tab.

Does the QR code in the header confuse ATS?

Accepted Answer

No. The QR is rendered as an image with alt text, and the surrounding contact block always contains the URL as native HTML text. ATS systems ignore the image and read the text.

Why does the /teardown score not match the Resume Score in the editor?

They're two different lenses on the same resume and they measure different things — so they will not match, and shouldn't. The /teardown "AI Recruiter Read" is Claude's holistic 0–100 judgment on how a recruiter would first-scan the resume (subjective, gestalt). The editor's "Resume Score" is a deterministic structural checklist — weighted sum of Completeness (40 pts), Quantification (20), Action verbs (15), Length / density (15), and Contact info (10). A resume with strong writing but missing basics can score high on the AI read and low on the editor checklist, and vice versa. Read the two together, not as one number.

Will you charge me automatically after a trial?

No surprise auto-renewals. You only become a paying customer when you explicitly click Upgrade to Pro and complete Stripe checkout. We do not run SGD 30 surprises like some competitors.

How do I cancel?

Open Stripe Customer Portal from your Account page → click Cancel. It is one click. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then revert to Free. Your data stays yours.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If you cancel within 7 days of upgrading and have not exported more than three Pro-template PDFs, we will refund your last charge. See the contact section below to reach support.

No trial gimmicks. Free is genuinely free — one resume, five free templates (Harvard Professional, ATS Strict, Modern Operator, Nordic Minimal, Creative Two-Column), 2 clean PDF exports per month. Upgrade only when you want more resumes or premium templates.

Which AI model do you use?

Anthropic's Claude (Haiku 4.5) for most features. Cost per AI operation is low, so a free user has effectively unlimited usage within reasonable limits.

What does the AI do with my data?

Accepted Answer

Resume text you submit to AI features is sent to Anthropic (Claude) for processing. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API. Optional voice features use OpenAI Whisper for transcription only. Your resume itself is stored in our Supabase database — see Privacy Policy for details.

Will the AI invent fake experience or metrics?

No. Every AI prompt in Offersly explicitly forbids fabrication. The AI restructures and improves your wording, but only uses information you provide. The CAR/STAR Rewrite engine asks you for specifics and outcomes before rewriting.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the EU. Resume content is stored encrypted at rest. Authentication tokens are HttpOnly cookies.

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From your account settings you can download all your resume data as JSON, and you can delete your account along with all resume content. We respect GDPR and CCPA requests — email privacy@offersly.app.

Do you share my data with third parties?

Only with: (1) Anthropic when you use AI features (and OpenAI for optional voice transcription), (2) Stripe when you upgrade to Pro, (3) Supabase as our database provider. We never sell user data to anyone, ever. See our Privacy Policy.

What happens if I share my resume publicly?

You explicitly toggle a public share link per resume. That link points at /share?slug=... and shows your resume to anyone with the URL. You can disable sharing at any time and the link stops working immediately.

Yes — that is what AI Tailor and JD Match are for. Paste the job description, get a 0-100% match score, one-click keyword fixes, and a button to create a new tailored resume version.

Can I track my job applications?

Yes. Each resume version has an application status (Draft / Applied / Interviewing / Offer / Rejected). The dashboard has a Kanban view to drag resumes across columns. Stats are visible at the top.
